The National Hockey League is here again, and it is surely living up to be another great season. What started as a quiet season has seen a lot of ups and downs in the 33 gamedays that we have seen so far.

In the Atlantic division, for example, Lightning is showing champions stuff in the way they are dominating the table with 8 winning streaks. There is nowhere else on the table that such feat repeats itself.

The truth is, the games are far from over. That is why we have brought you the suitable viewing options to ensure you never miss yet another game.

Cable TV – Most popular

Cable TV has been around for a while now and it remains the most popular way by which many watch the games. While it offers you the convenience of bringing you all you want to see in one place, it is the least favorite option for us.

On the one hand, cable is expensive to keep and maintain. This will be especially true if you are keeping the cord on just for the sake of sports content.

On the other hand, cable TV is not available to those outside of the US. This means that even if you had cable subscription back home and went traveling outside of the States, you won’t be able to watch the games anymore. Of course, the same thing applies to those who are naturally living outside the States.

Perhaps the last straw for us comes in the way of game blackout which are a common occurrence on Cable. With the game being available just 48 hours after they have been completed live, that does not provide the same feel as a live experience.

If you still want to subject yourself to cable and all of these restrictions, we don’t have a problem with that. But then, why do that when you can get so much more?

Streaming with a VPN – Most recommended

The most recommended option from us is that you stream NHL with a VPN. The reason for that is not far-fetched.

These VPNs allow you access content from any part of the world by just connecting to a server location there. They also let you escape certain restrictions when you connect to a server location where such are not being imposed.

That is not to mention the fact that you can now get better deals on your NHL TV subscription. Solving all the problems of your cable TV and giving you a better value for (less) money, we don’t see why you haven’t started streaming your content yet.

Getting started is easy too. All you have to do is:

  • Get a VPN of your choice
  • Connect to a server location inside the US
  • Register and pick a subscription on a suitable streaming platform of your choice (YouTube TV, SlingTV, fuboTV, etc.)
  • Log in when the games are being played and stream.

That would get you access to the games from ANYWHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD.

Beating the Blackouts

With the above model, you might not have totally ridden yourself of blackouts. Note that these blackouts are usually restricted to local areas – where the games are being played.

To get around them, simply connect your VPN to another server location where the game is not being aired in.

Conclusion

Why suffer through the conventional modes of grabbing these games when they don’t give you the best experience? Use a VPN today and you will be on your way to a swell experience.

Don’t let anyone else tell you how the games went. Be there to see all the points as the puck goes in!
